Hola! Welcome to Mariposa Photography!

My name is Genesis Moreno!
I am a Colorado bound resident, foodie, animal lover, artist and of course a freelance photographer!

I recently graduated from Front Range Community College, where I took photography, and got my certificates in Web Design, and Fundamentals In Multimedia Technology. Meaning.. im certified in Photoshop, Illustrator, and more! I am also a professional artist, and graphic designer!

I am very family oriented and am very close to my religious roots. My family originated from Mexico, and am proud of my mexican culture.

My family is from Chihuahua and Michoacan, Mexico! Michoacan is home of the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, the most beautiful forest I have ever seen, where fun fact, thousands of Monarch Butterflies travel from Canada to Mexico during the winter! Thus, inspired me to name my photography brand! Since it is a long way from the U.S the closest thing I have in Colorado is the Butterfly Pavillion, another butterfly sanctuary and nursery. Butterflies symbolize transformation, growth, and freedom. Some values I hold dearly.
